| dc.description.abstract | Se desarrolló un portal en Internet con la finalidad de reunir toda la documentación pertinente a la producción alternativa de cerdos. Se utilizó un programa editor de lenguaje HTML (lenguaje utilizado en Internet) para transformar los resúmenes, trabajos completos e imágenes, suministrados por un grupo internacional de investigadores e instituciones relacionadas con la producción porcina. A través del protocolo de transferencia de archivos FTP, se publicó el portal en el servidor de FUNDACITE Aragua, siendo monitoreado el acceso al portal a través de un programa contador de visitas. Existen 544 resúmenes, 274 trabajos completos y 228 imágenes publicadas en el portal al 26 de Junio de 2002. Hasta esa fecha, el portal fue visitado 7126 veces, con un promedio mensual de 420 visitas. El día de mayor número de visualizaciones hasta el momento fue el 11 de Junio de 2002 con 73 unidades. El 84,3% de los accesos al portal provienen del Continente Americano. El 73,3% de las visitas al portal se realizan entre las 12:00 y las 23:00 horas. Se concluye que el portal www.sian.info.ve/porcinos es una herramienta eficaz para la divulgación de información relacionada a la producción alternativa de cerdos. | es_VE |
| dc.description.abstract1 | An Internet portal was developed with the purpose of gathering the whole pertinent documentation to the alternative swine production. A HTML editor (language used in Internet) was used to transform the abstracts, papers and images, given by an international group of researchers and institutions related to the swine production. Through the FTP file transfer protocol, the portal was published in the FUNDACITE Aragua server, being watched the access to the portal through a counter software. At June 26 2002, 544 abstract, 274 papers and 228 images were published in the portal. Until that date, the portal has been visited 7126 times, with a monthly average of 420 visits. The many visited day until this moment was June 11 2002, with 73 units. The 84.3% of the accesses to the portal comes from the American Continent. The 73.3% of the visits to the portal is carried out between the 12:00 and the 23:00 hours.
