Abstract

The Group of Speech Processes of the University of the Andes (GPVULA) has the objective to promote the development of the Technologies of Speech, particularly in reference to Venezuela.

In general lines it is interested in the investigation and development of the communication between man and machine, including aspects of analysis, synthesis and automated voice recognition. The group, of an engineering manner, has a stretched connection with Group of Investigation in Phonetic Sciences of the Humanities Faculty.
