| dc.description.abstract | El presente artículo muestra las bases teórico-metodológicas generales que se adoptaron para el estudio de la modernización del interior doméstico urbano y su sistema de objetos en Venezuela entre 1890 y 1950, bajo la óptica de la historia social del diseño. Para examinar la organización espacial y el contenido objetual de los distintos espacios que conformaban las casonas urbanas de origen colonial se plantearon dos aproximaciones a diferente escala, lográndose determinar el modo en que esas edificaciones fueron experimentando cambios espaciales a través del consumo de objetos utilitarios importados. | es_VE |
