dc.description.abstract1The state of Acre located in the south of the Brazilian Amazon land that has already abounded with rubber tree, fundamental raw material in the manufacture of rubber, was attractive to thousands of people who came mainly from the Brazilian northeast at the end of 19th century and early 20th, in search for work and easy money. In this study, we will address the story of two descendant families living in Acre, originally from northeast Brazil, Mr. Divaldo Alves de Souza and Mrs. Guitar Medeiro Marques. The situation of these families was the most difficult, because of the exhaustive work and danger with wild animals and some usual diseases in this region and the insolation inside syringes. In this study, we adopt the phenomenological approach for contemplating the perceptions of subjectivity, emotions and affections of these families. The main technique adopted for this study and source was the oral data.es_VE
