| dc.description.abstract | Este trabajo persigue como objetivo establecer una visión actualizada de la salud en función de las definiciones propuestas por el consenso del Taller 2017 “Clasificación de las enfermedades y condiciones periodontales y periimplantares” y de esta forma se permita comprender el contexto bajo el cual debe ser evaluada la salud, para que sea la premisa del diagnóstico y planificación del tratamiento periodontal. Este análisis tiene como importancia la ausencia de sangrado, indica ausencia de inflamación clínica, por lo cual es fundamental conocer y aplicar los parámetros clínicos recomendados por el consenso, así como también, tener presente que existen condiciones que pueden enmascarar o exagerar el sangrado en donde deben evaluarse los determinantes de salud y enfermedad que pueden estar presentes en el individuo, responsables de la severidad, extensión y progresión de la enfermedad. El restablecimiento de la salud se debe a las condiciones alostáticas de cada paciente, tomando en cuenta que existe una individualidad presente, en la definición de caso y en la planificación del tratamiento. En conclusión, la salud debe evaluarse desde el sitio y desde el paciente. La salud según el sitio se clasifica en salud gingival clínica en periodonto intacto y salud gingival clínica en periodonto reducido (paciente con periodontitis estable y paciente sin periodontitis). Desde el paciente deben controlarse los factores de riesgo. Un caso de gingivitis inducida por biopelícula se clasifica según la integridad del sitio en gingivitis inducida por biopelícula en periodonto intacto y en periodonto reducido. | es_VE |
| dc.description.abstract1 | This work aims to establish an updated vision of health based on the definitions proposed by the 2017 Workshop consensus “Classification of periodontal and peri-implant diseases and conditions” and in this way allow to understand the context under which it should be evaluated health, to be the premise of the diagnosis and planning of periodontal treatment. This analysis is important for the absence of bleeding, indicates absence of clinical inflammation, so it is essential to know and apply the clinical parameters recommended by the consensus, as well as to keep in mind that there are conditions that can mask or exaggerate the bleeding where The determinants of health and disease that may be present in the individual, responsible for the severity, extent and progression of the disease should be evaluated. The restoration of health is due to the allostatic conditions of each patient, taking into account that there is an individuality present, in the case definition and in the treatment planning. In conclusion, health should be evaluated from the site and from the patient. Health according to the site is classified in clinical gingival health in intact periodontium and clinical gingival health in reduced periodontium (patient with stable periodontitis and patient without periodontitis). The risk factors must be controlled from the patient.
