dc.description.abstractLas realidades que marcan el recién iniciado milenio establecen inéditas señales paradigmáticas, las cuales acompañan el devenir de la sociedad de la información y el conocimiento, aupando la aparición de originales nociones espaciales y temporales, conformantes de novedosos procesos perceptivos y cognoscitivos. Resulta, por tanto, impostergable una reflexión acerca de tales circunstancias a la luz de su incidencia en la práctica educativa y la enseñanza de la geografía en específico, frente a las exigencias que de ellas surgen.es_VE
dc.description.abstract1Realities that mark the just initiate millennium are establishing new paradigmatic signals, which are encompassed with changes happening on the society of information and knowledge. It also encourage to the appearance of original space and temporary notions that involves perception and cognitive processes. This work is a reflection about to the circumstances that give a light of the incidences of global-local paradox in the school practice and in the geography education learning process in the face of the new demands that arise from them.es_VE
