dc.description.abstractPollos alimentados con dietas suplementadas con fosfatos sedimentarios (Río, Liza, Chigua, Jají, Monte y Navay) presentaron a la cuarta semana de edad, menores pesos y mineralización del tejido óseo, que los animales del grupo testigo. El incremento en el contenido de flúor en la dieta, provocó acumulación progresiva de este elemento en los huesos, siendo los valores más altos (P<0,05) para los fosfatos de Táchira y Mérida. La ingestión de flúor a niveles superiores de 40 mg/ave/día, limitó el comportamiento productivo de las aves y la mineralización del tejido óseo.es_VE
dc.description.abstract1Chicks fed supplemented diets with raw rock phosphates (Río, Liza, Chigua, Jají, Monte y Navay) showed lower body weight and bone mineralization than the control birds at the age of four weeks. The increment of fluorine in the diet caused progressive accumulation of this element in the bone, being this highest value (P<0.05) registered in the Táchira and Mérida phosphates. The intake of fluorine al levels over 40 mg/bird/day not only limited the productive performance of the chicken, but also the bone mineralization.es_VE
