Medio de Keister modificado para el cultivo de Giardia lamblia in vitro

Abstract

The elaboration of a modified Keister´s culture medium for the growth of Giardia lamblia is reported. The modified medium allows the elaboration of important volumes that can be sterilized in the autoclave and later on enriched with small volumes of the components that are denatured by heat sterilization. G. lamblia cultured in the modified medium growths at the same level that in the traditional medium.
