dc.description.abstractEn la investigación realizada, se analizó las variables rendimiento académico y el conocimiento de la historia de la matemática, a la muestra seleccionada se les aplicó una prueba para diagnosticar el nivel de conocimiento de historia de la matemática, y para conocer el rendimiento académico se recurrió a la base de datos Sistema Único de Matrícula (SUM). El análisis de fiabilidad del cuestionario fue de coeficiente KR-20 de 0,86 significó que tubo alta confiabilidad. Así mismo, en la hipótesis principal se señaló que existía relación entre el rendimiento académico y el conocimiento de historia de la matemática. La principal conclusión comprobó que hay relación entre las dos variable, es decir, existe relación significativa positiva entre el rendimiento académico y el nivel de conocimiento de historia de la matemática; esta relación fue alta (0,682).es_VE
dc.description.abstract1In the research carried out, the variables of academic performance and the level of knowledge of the history of mathematics were analyzed. A test was applied to the selected sample to diagnose the level of knowledge of the history of mathematics and to know the academic performance was used to the database Unique System of Enrollment (SUM). The reliability analysis of the questionnaire was the KR-20 coefficient of 0.86. This meant that it had high reliability. Likewise, in the main hypothesis it was pointed out that there was a relationship between academic performance and knowledge of the history of mathematics. The main conclusion showed that there is a relationship between the two variables, that is, there is a significant and positive relationship between academic performance and the level of knowledge of the history of mathematics, and this relationship was high (0.682).es_VE
