dc.description.abstractVenezuela, tierra rica en tradiciones y cultura arraigada en diferentes pueblos, posee costumbres y tradiciones particulares en cuanto a su música. En los llanos venezolanos el cuatro se combina con el arpa, las maracas y la bandola creándose un ritmo particular denominado el joropo del cual derivan diferentes ritmos y formas de canto; una de ellas es el contrapunteo llanero. Esta forma de expresión resalta la personalidad del hombre de llano. El presente artículo analiza desde el punto de vista conceptual e histórico el contrapunteo llanero, precisando el objeto y sujeto del Derecho de Autor de este género musical autóctono de los llanos venezolanos, asimismo se presenta una contextualización a partir del marco jurídico venezolano.es_VE
