dc.description.abstractEl artículo examina, desde una perspectiva antropológica, la infl uencia de las instituciones gubernamentales sobre la autonomía de los Consejos Comunales, en el Estado Sucre (Venezuela), en relación con tres dimensiones cruciales: a) la composición, evaluando la representatividad y la participación; b) los límites impuestos por las instituciones al funcionamiento cotidiano, pero también las expresiones de autonomía c) La consecuencias de la dependencia de los organismos fi nanciadores. Las contribuciones principales de este artículo son: 1) Una análisis de la práctica cotidiana a través de informaciones puntuales sobre las tensiones entre activistas y instituciones; 2) La presentación de las opiniones de las mujeres y de los hombres que trabajan en los CC.es_VE
dc.description.abstract1The paper analyses, from an anthropological perspective, the infl uence of government institutions on the autonomy of communal councils in the Sucre State (Venezuela), with specifi c reference to three crucial issues: a) their composition, evaluating their capacity to represent and their participation; b) limits imposed by institutions in their daily functioning as well as instances of autonomy; c) consequences of dependence on funding bodies. The core contributions presented in this paper are: 1) an analysis of the daily practices obtained through detailed contextual information on tensions between militants and institutions; 2) the presentation of opinions of the women and men who work in the CC.es_VE
