dc.description.abstractSe analiza el intento de reorganización del desordenado y precario aparato militar llevado a cabo por Guzmán Blanco. El proceso da solidez a las bases de su poder autocrático y al pacto con los caudillos regionales. Se impuso una paz relativa sobre un territorio carente de tranquilidad, así como exaltar los principios del liberalismo con el apoyo de las premisas positivistas de orden y progreso material en la Venezuela de mitad de siglo XIX.es_VE
dc.description.abstract1The article discusses the attempt on the reorganization of the messy and precarious military apparatus carried out by Guzmán Blanco. The process gives strength to his autocratic power bases and the agreement with regional warlords. A relative peace over a territory devoid of tranquility prevailed, as well as exalting the principles of liberalism with the support of the positivist assumptions of order and material progress in the mid-19th century Venezuela.es_VE
